Mission Statement
Our mission is to alleviate social stigma surrounding homelessness to improve mental health of the unhoused.
What makes us different?
There are many organizations that seek to give back to communities, improve access to care, provide food and other essential resources. Amidst this process, there are various levels of detachment from the community. Our famous hypothetical example that we always give that fuels our model: an organization goes into the community and provides reusable water bottles, but they don't have access to safe drinking water. The detachment from understanding the true needs of the community in this circumstance has handicapped the value of the supplied resource.
However, we are the first nonprofit to be entirely population driven. We have an adaptive approach that allows us to parallel societies progression, and we are not restricted to any one population. Coming into every event without assumptions, we carefully and analytically track trends and statistics in any given population and conduct interviews to understand the condition of the community. We launch projects that are current and up to date that addresses modern needs, and we have assembled an agile team that can account for landscape shifts rapidly and effectively. We place great emphasis an understanding how the target population feels and how they want to obtain the resources- successfully keeping them involved every step of the way.
Additionally, we have emphasized an interactive environment where we will be utilizing different social media platforms to grow and expand our societal footprint. This also serves the purpose of raising attention towards the difficulties that many communities face. Citizens from all walks of life are encouraged to reach out to us with an identified missing need in any community. At this point, we will review the comments and investigate the issue further. If it is deemed that we can help mediate the problem, our preparation begins to launch a series of event that targets the issue and brings attention to the matter.
