Rashed Alananzeh
Biography
Rashed Alananzeh is an MD candidate at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. He graduated with the honors of Magna Cum Laude from Boston University with a BA in Biology (specializing in Cellular, Molecular, and Genetics) in 2021. His research has significantly contributed to understanding neurodegenerative diseases and the molecular etiology of genetic disorders, with multiple publications and presentations. As Co-Founder and Co-President of Envision Difference, Rashed has excelled in leadership, managing significant fundraising initiatives to support Boston's unhoused population and carrying out nationwide research efforts. His professional experiences range from detailed genetic studies to child psychiatry. Fluent in Arabic and proficient in Spanish, Rashed uses his linguistic skills to enhance patient care. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, enjoys working on cars and reading poetry in his free time.
